NEWs Update | Vis-Min at the forefront of PH communications ~ Top south creative and network brands mount communications event
Created by Cebu-based Republiq Group of Companies behind the well-known entity BaiTV in partnership with Cagayan De Oro-born Radio Mindanao Network (RMN), a giant name in radio broadcasting, two top communications brands in Visayas and Mindanao joined forces for MediaBai last November 05 at White Space in Makati City. The event was exciting and successful, a very colorful and vibrant event attended by nearly 400 of the country’s communications experts from broadcasting, agency, client, creator and influencer, and print media, loaded with a whole lot of foodies!

MediaBai was complete and encompassing, delivering a comprehensive and insightful program that featured valuable insights from Kantar Media, which shared data and trends on media consumption. Media notables included Donald Lim, Chief Innovation Officer of Udenna and concurrent President of DITO CME, and Gladys Basinillo, Founder and CEO of Intersections Communications Inc and Praxis, both of whom offered actionable strategies for tailoring campaigns to diverse audiences. Yasmin Mallari, Unilab AVP and Corporate Media Group Head also joined the panel, along with Manny Gonzales, Consulting Head and Strategy Director of Ogilvy Philippines. Robbie Aligada, Executive Director of the Ad Standards Council shared constructive information on self-regulation in the creation of communications for public consumption.
The event concept is groundbreaking, the staging of which brings together creative, media and network professionals. While representatives from RMN and RGC naturally chimed in with keen inputs on how to fine tune campaigns to find success in Vis Min, hosts like Rudy Villar from the Ad Standards Council Tech Committee, and Jel Directo, Vice-president of the Content and Influencer Council of the Philippines expertly led the panel discussions that featured Vis-Min content creators and influencers.
The lively host Bogart the Explorer added a dose of humor and energy, keeping attendees engaged and making the stage interplay pop.
Some nuggets of wisdom from discussions involved the importance of hyper local authority and building uniform platforms to support brand partners in engaging distant audiences.
