Day 3 | Philippine Startup Week 2024
Taguig City, Philippines – The Philippine Startup Week 2024 continued its impressive run on November 13, 2024 at The Blue Leaf Events Pavilion in McKinley Hills with themes focused on
women in tech and sustainability.
The day kicked off with the “Startup Pinay x Founder” session, where renowned speakers shared their experiences and insights on breaking boundaries, reaching for the stars in innovation and entrepreneurship, harnessing data and space technology for global innovation, and building AI platforms that empower and scale. Panel discussions on vision for women in tech and inclusion, and investment opportunities in the emerging women tech-driven sector were also discussed.
One of the highlights of the day is “The Future is Female Showcase,” where promising women-led startups showcased their innovative ideas, providing an opportunity to gain visibility and attract potential investors, celebrating the creativity, resilience, and impact of women-led ventures.
The afternoon session, “Greenovation Nation,” shifted the focus to environmental sustainability and innovation. Talks such as “Powering a Greener Future: Vision for Corporate Innovation in Sustainable Energy” and “Driving Change: The Power and Potential of Impact Investing” captivated attendees with actionable insights on aligning business practices with environmental goals. The session also addressed pressing issues like climate adaptation and waste management, concluding with “Closing the Loop: The Future of Waste Management,” which highlighted circular economy principles as a solution to the global waste crisis.
The day concluded with a panel discussion on “Energy Transition: Corporate Innovation and Startup Collaboration for Sustainability,” where panelists, representing various sectors, explored the challenges and opportunities in transitioning to a sustainable energy future.
The Day 3 of Philippine Startup Week 2024 not only showcased the talent and innovation of Filipino entrepreneurs but also sparked important conversations about the future of technology and sustainability.
