The Taiwan Award-winning Foods Pavilion is proud to showcase a selection of food products across Taiwan, including flagship products, sauces, beverages, appetizers, and pastries. Jointly organized by the International Trade Administration, the Ministry of Economic Affairs, and the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), the Taiwan Award-winning Foods Pavilion will debut at the World Food Expo 2024. The event will be held from 31 July to 3 August, 2024, at the SMX Convention Center 1F. Located at booth 1147 in Hall 2. To foster collaboration between Taiwan and the Philippines’ emerging industries, the Taiwan Award-Winning Foods Pavilion will not only introduce Filipino food lovers to Taiwanese cuisine but also help Taiwanese food and beverage companies enter the Philippine market, ensuring the highest food quality standards are maintained in both regions.
The Taiwan Award-Winning Foods Pavilion, showcasing nearly 150 products from 68 renowned Taiwanese companies, is sure to be a hit with visitors and exhibitors alike. Attendees can expect to taste a delightful variety of famous Taiwanese delicacies. Beyond the beloved pineapple cake, the visitors will be delighted by Custard Taro Pastry and Walnut Candy. Beverage options include the ever-popular pearl milk tea, alongside innovative offerings like honey lemon capsules, lei cha latte, and exquisite Taiwanese tea gift boxes.
These “Made in Taiwan” products are not only certified and awarded domestically and internationally but have also been recognized by Monde Selection, ITQI, Halal certification, organic certification, additive-free labels, and A.A. Taste Awards, drawing special attention from attendees and potential buyers. Strict quality control ensures adherence to national and international standards, with each product featuring exceptional quality, unique flavors, and diverse choices. The Taiwan Award-Winning Foods Pavilion will host a media-tasting event on the first day of the exhibition (July 31). The event will not only invite local media to taste Taiwanese cuisine but will also invite renowned influencer Chef RV Manabat to unveil the pavilion. The press conference, themed “Excellence in Quality,” aims to highlight the innovative breakthroughs achieved by Taiwanese companies in the food sector.
Throughout the four-day event, the Taiwan Award-Winning Foods Pavilion will be filled with engaging activities, including giveaways and raffle games, designed to attract buyers and visitors. The product showcase and interaction with Filipino consumers are expected to strengthen the connection and business prospects between Taiwan and the Philippines.
