MomCon 2024 & Beyond
Mommy Mundo recognizes the urgent need for the #CalltoConnect and plans to carry the movement and continuing conversations birthed from MomCon 2024 through to 2025 with digital and on-ground initiatives that will continue to spotlight the power of connection.
Through wellbeing-focused programs, and harping on the power of connection, the seeds planted at MomCon will continue to be nurtured: harping on connections within ourselves, our children and others, and with the world around us.
In line with this, Mommy Mundo strengthens its mission to keep being the link between parents and the resources that exist to support parenthood. Janice said, “We’re excited to carry our #CalltoConnect movement to 2025, make our resources and support offerings even more accessible to parents and parenting advocates, referring to the Philippine parenting industry, and continue to be the go-to resource and support for Filipino moms throughout their parenting journey just as we have been the past two decades.”

ABOUT MOMMY MUNDO
Mommy Mundo: Connecting Moms For Over 20 Years
Mommy Mundo, the Philippines’ pioneering omnichannel resource and community for moms has been connecting families since 2003. It is a platform that was created by a mom, for moms.
Over 20 years ago, founder and CEO of the first-ever Filipino mom community, Janice Villanueva, was pregnant with her firstborn and could not find the resources she needed to help prepare for her new role of being a mother. She said, “While I was happy with the support of my family, doctors and friends, I was hungry for more information and thought there must be other moms and moms-to-be out there who felt the same way.” So she connected with like-minded mom friends and organized support group meetings with 10-20 moms offering educational campaigns and activities. This effort eventually exploded to events attended by thousands of moms and even dads. At the onset of digital, Janice launched one of the first mom websites in the country called Mommy Pages and eventually grew the mom community online and on social. Her parenting advocacy has been lauded with the Philippine Quill Award for Marketing Communications in 2016, and internationally with the Women’s Icon Asia Award in Singapore and the 100 Most Influential Filipinas in London, both in 2018. Janice said, “Motherhood transformed me. What started as a personal need has become my life’s purpose, to keep creating credible, authentic, inclusive platforms and opportunities for connection that serve and support moms and families. While growing the Mommy Mundo community for the past 20+ years has had its challenges especially during the pandemic, I always come home to my mission, which is to help moms live their best lives!”
Mommy Mundo consistently endeavors to be at the forefront of connecting multi-platform solutions to all stages of parenting challenges and needs.
