Taguig City – The Philippines sends delegation to the 47th WorldSkills International Competition happening in Lyon, France.
Before flying to Lyon, France for the 47th WorldSkills International Competition, the Philippine delegation underwent an intensive mind-conditioning program, proudly supported by LORAÉ Institute and a team of exceptional coaches. 🙌💪
Headed by Coach Lyn Hazel Calawood, mind coach to Olympian Carlos Yulo together with Edward Mendez, Fitness & Nutrition Consultant, and Martin Aguda Jr., Safety & Crisis Management Expert and Coach Elizabeth Estrada, public image and branding consultant –the team was trained to develop a winning mindset and boost their competitive edge!
This program was curated by LORAÉ institute’s Founder and President, Elizabeth Estrada a seasoned PR and branding expert, integrative image coach and aesthetician helping the team build a strong image and identity for the world stage. Consequently, Estrada also hosts and co-produces a seasonal online show on The New Channel called, Beyond Beauty. The show promotes businesses and people behind the industry of beauty and aesthetics.
The three-day training focuses on developing a winning mindset, efficiently delivering talent and skills, and building a strong image and identity. These strategies are meticulously designed to foster a positive mindset and winning attitude among the competitors.
Following the training, the Philippine delegation paid a courtesy visit to TESDA Director General Francisco “Kiko” B. Benitez, alongside Axel Peynaud from France Volontaires, the volunteering arm of the French Government in the Philippines. Mr. Peynaud provided valuable insights into French culture, language, etiquette, and other essential information to help the delegation acclimate to their new environment.
Through TESDA, the Philippines sends these six (6) competitors to WorldSkills 2024 Lyon—the largest skills showcase in the world happening from 10-15 September 2024.
