Press Release | The 18th UP ComBroadSoc Gandingan Awards
The UP ComBroadSoc Gandingan Awards will recognize national, local, and online media through a program to be staged on 4 May 2024 at the Charles Fuller Baker Memorial Hall with the theme “Agrikultura: Mga Kuwento ng Hamon at Pag-asa” for its 18th year.
Winners are carefully selected from 200 entries submitted by 28 media networks and platforms that best capture, through stories, the pressing problems faced by farmers, fisherfolk, and other concerned groups, and how they affect the overall agricultural landscape in the country.
Limited seats for the audience will be available for sale soon. Proceeds will go to a public service activity with Pambansang Kilusan ng mga Samahang Magsasaka or PAKISAMA, a 35-year-old national movement and confederation of family farmer organizations.
