Standing tall at a spectacular height of 75 ft, the Firefly x Royu Christmas tree is a majestic symbol of Filipino tradition, united family bonds and the warmth of the Christmas spirit. The tree is illuminated by Firefly Lighting and powered by Royu Electrical, both powerhouse brands of FELCO in the lighting and electrical industry. It promises to be the centerpiece of this year’s celebrations at SM by the Bay, inviting Filipinos to come together and embrace the joy of the holidays.
Designed by Filipino event stylist, Gary Dacanay, the giant Christmas tree embodies the modern Filipino Christmas celebration. It’s a perfect blend of contemporary and traditional designs featuring the prominent colors of the Philippine flag as well as notable local crafts like the capiz and ethnic woven patterns.
The Christmas tree lighting event at SM by the Bay last November 9 was truly a day to Celebright Moments of Quality as they opened the event with fun activities filled with amazing prizes and giveaways. Sud, the popular OPM band behind popular hit songs “Sila” and “Baliw”, was also one in CeleBrighting Moments of Quality as they performed under the dazzling display of lights of the giant Firefly X Royu Christmas tree.
The giant Firefly x Royu Christmas tree will be on display until January 2025.
